Work is called work for a good reason, but it can be far more fulfilling when we choose well, based upon the kind of reflection Kristen (and originally, Bolles) recommends, using the tools she brings to the table for us. The exercises have proven themselves vital for me finding the best fit at several stages of my career. What is more, currently I use this shorter version for guiding high school students at my school to express, analyze, and categorize their achievements and meaningful ventures, recorded as brief vignettes, in order to steer their ambitions toward future success. I commend Carol Christen, Bolles' co-author, for re-packaging the original in such a readable, faster-paced presentation. Most highly recommended!

The book is a great resource. It is very dense, so young people should take their time reading and be very thoughtful and reflective while reading. It as well is an excellent workbook for teenagers and young adults who are "finding themselves" on their path to employment.

I picked a teen version because I was so lost with what type of career I wanted to take. I am in my mid twenties. I feel as though I am like a student just leaving high school and this book was perfect to help guide me through all the different questions and concerns I failed to ask myself as a teen. I would definitely enjoy buying more books in the series.

I use this in one of my classes. Students get some good information. I only wish there were a companion workbook.

I am a school counselor and I purchased copies for each of my seniors! We are going through some of the chapters and activities together as a group and they are encouraged to keep and use the books themselves. So far, we are really happy with the way the kids are using and responding to the material and information presented.

Not enough suggestions as I thought it might have based on the description to help my kids figure out what they should study in college

I bought this book for my teens when they were having trouble zeroing in on a career to aim for. One if the quizzes in here helped my teen see that she loved cooking, passionately. She's now enrolled in a culinary course and is thriving there.
