Retribution is not a great place; close to Sonora, Mexico, the Montoya Cartel distributes drugs through Retribution. Reaper does run into someone he knows from the military, Deputy Cara Billings. But, oh, he is just asking for trouble!When a task force is created to destroy the Cartel, you will cheer. This is exactly how the illegal drug problem with the current cartels should be dealt with! Reaper reminds me of Reacher, a character by author Lee Child. In “Retribution” the characters are well-described. The evil is over-the-top bad, and the heroes are plentiful and likable. A suspenseful storyline that is engrossing and entertaining!

The hero was a superman. Not realistic in any sense and not believable in any light. I like the action and the pace of the book but it was just too farfetched for my taste. I ended up skim reading the last half.

One of the best action adventure books I have read in years. Kept me glued to the pages and couldn't put it down. Already downloaded the next episode of the series.

The story line in Retribution is excellent, and the writing keeps you wanting to know what comes next. A very exciting read!

If youwant a action read which is 5 star and go go, this is for you, very good read indeed.

Graphic violenceShort review: read it.Fast-paced stand-alone that is easy to follow and difficult to put down. No editing errors or drag-you-down drama. There is graphic violence.Intriguing pro military service storyline with descriptive writing that keeps the reader enthralled. Realistic procedures, actions and reactions. Believable dialogue and characters with distinct personalities.No desire to re-read this story. I am interested in other works by this author.
