I purchased the book because it is one of the few that graphically shows you where the hook should go to get the stitch, by drawing lines on the picture instead of a picture of the hook already placed or a picture of the finished square leaving you to guess what was done. I just wish there were more pictures with the lines with each pattern so that I wouldn't have to keep flipping between pages and that the line color was appropriate for the yarn color so that it stood out more. I also wish the page count noted in the store was correct. There are 50 patterns, each has 1 or 2 pages to it, so there are over 60 pages instead of 32. That said, I am hoping that she is still planning on translating volumes 2 and 3 to English because I am interested in them.

When I first opened the package I thought this would be a big disappointment because it is so small, but, boy was I wrong. It might be only thirty-some pages, but there are two and usually three stitches on each and every page, as well as full-color photos, written instructions and charts for each, so there is plenty to keep you learning for a long time. It's obvious that the people who gave it bad reviews have not really taken a good look at its contents. It's definitely worth the price. I'm already looking forward to getting the second book, and the third when it comes up on Amazon. This will take my crocheting to a whole new level.

I am a beginner. I can easily follow the pictures and the graphics (and I am fairly new to the graphs.) For a beginner there are lots of patterns, some are tweaks to another pattern, but I appreciate it. Mine is a Kindle book and it will be used for sure.

This book shows a large variety of different stitches to try with written and chart instructions. I think it is more for intermediate Tunisian crochet rather than beginner. It does have instructions for the basic stitches, but not as detailed as I have seen in other books.

I received this in the mail and almost had to laugh. This "book" is less than 40 pages. It's thinner than a magazine. What a disappointment. The only positive thing is that the directions are easy to follow and the pictures are all in color. I just wish it had more content.

I love this book. I have another book with Tunisian crochet patterns, but this one has a greater variety of simple yet interesting patterns, and the instructions are easier to follow.

Having read all of the reviews for Tunisian Crochet Vol. I, I was eagerly awaiting the arrival of the book. THe book is a VERY thin paperback but does cover a lot of different stitches. Unfortunately for me, the directions for how to do each stitch were nearly nonexistent. I had hoped that the graphics in this book would show where to insert the hook, etc. but instead the author uses verbal descriptions and refers to "vertical and horizontal bars." While I am sure this book would be great for some people it was not what I was looking for visually; I need more detailed images/drawings as opposed to just text and photos. Perhaps if I wasn't a beginner I would have enjoyed the book more.

Definitely not worth the money did not explain anything and only a few pages
