The content from Imam Ali is the best I have known, however there needs to be a better and coherent presentation of the ideas that the Imam discussed. It is hard for someone new to the Imam to understand this book.I feel more should have been done, or should be done in the way the text is presented so as to be of value to the current generation. That being said, good effort from the compiler of this edition all the same.

It'd be great if it were in English, instead of mostly gibberish. It's unreadable.

Amazing quotes by one of the most wise and loving men that has ever lived. Highly recommended to anyone interested in learning about Ali. Also to anyone interested in the real atmosphere of early Islam, not the radical innovations that are attracting so much attention these days.

The collection of sayings does not provide context for each maxim.

I got goosebumps while reading Each adage of Imam Ali (as). Truly, what a mesmerizing character of a human!I think the book would be even more interesting if a brief was provided as to under what circumstances did Imam Ali b. Abi Talib (as) reveal each proverb.
